This is just for fencing. Why would it have to count up? That never happens in fencing.

I used to fence in high school so I feel qualified to comment here. Why limit this app to fencing? I thought it would be useful to help manage the officiating of kids soccer as well, but then I discovered you cannot change time beyond three minutes. I deleted this app. Way too specialized to be handy.

As a fencing referee,this app is a life saver. Looking forward to an update.

Im not into fencing but I use it for basketball and football as it can almost be used for any sport but great app and I would recomend it

Why this only has three stars, I dont know. A score counter. Thats it nothing more nothing less. You can time which is really great. A great free app.

Honestly, this has got to stop being put down for lack of features for other sports and trading card games. It is clearly stated that this app is designed for fencing, and if you want to use it for anything else, fine, but dont rate it badly because it cant count up to 8,000. As a fencer, I can honestly say that, for fencing, there is no better app. This is a splendid all-in-one app for any referee. Yellow and Red card features are wonderful, but, as others have said, could be more accessible. I only have three suggestions-- 1: As has already been said, support for team matches would be very nice. 2: A visual representation of a red/yellow card for the fencers to see would eliminate the need to carry actual paper cards. 3: A coin flip function could eliminate the need to carry a coin. Thank you for such an awesome app!

You should add a feature that allows ten minute timing for rest between bouts; also, the time should automatically stop when a point is added. A red and yellow card feature would be nice too, and if there was some way to integrate a fencing rulebook into the app, that would make this the perfect app for fencers and directors alike. Great start!

I fence, this is awesome.

This is a great app exept I think it needs card buttons for yellow and red cards for directors such as my self.

This app is great for new reffs such as myself to get a feel of what an actual fencing remote is like.

As you can see from the picture. This app uses terrible buttons that look like crap!

Our club cant afford scoring machines, and this app is much better than our old method -- stopwatch + keep score in your head. A nice feature to add would be to buzz the vibrater when time runs out, so I dont have to take my eyes off the fenders. Add that, and Id send you $5 for the update!

Good app for what it does. Tracking cards given would be nice.

The "white noise" alert sound is probably the worst choice for a noisy environment. Much better would be one of the telephone touch-tones sounding 2-4x/second. Some way to increment/decrement the clock by seconds (holding the + or - key, perhaps) would help when the director fails to stop the clock right after a touch. As noted by others, yellow and red card counters would help, too. Id suggest keeping only the bottom start/stop button to free up space for other features.

This app is great for its price and best of all it is free. However, it would be great to take away the two other useless start buttons and add some helpful new features. Which were listed in the various comments bellow. To conclude, if you are a fencer this is a nice app to have for future bouts.

This is a great app. The only thing is that you should have an overtime as one of the periods in the middle, or at least a 4. Another thing that you should change is the team names instead of the words left and right, you should be able to edit the names. If you did this you would basically be able to use this for hockey. A shoot-out would be a nice option too for a tab or button.... Overall this is one great app. ~~~~ THANKS ~~~~

It works!

This app is great for what it does. The multiple start buttons means that one of them falls very naturally under my thumb. I only gave this 4 stars because there is no control for the sound. You either mute the iPod or you deal with all the (somewhat unusual) sounds. I would like it if I could at least chose when it makes sounds, if not which sounds it makes.

This APP works well as a timer and scorekeeper for wrestling matches.
